#OTD Seven years ago, Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) made his MLB debut with the Blue Jays.
He entered the game in the seventh inning and struck out the first two O's batters he faced and then got Hanser Alberto to ground out for a three-up, three-down inning.
The Jays won 8-6.

#OTD 33 years ago, the Toronto Blue Jays reacquired Tony Fernandez from the New York Mets in exchange for Darrin Jackson.
Fernandez proceeded to bat .306 with 108 hits in 94 games down the stretch and help the Blue Jays to their second consecutive World Series title.
