Cursor just got bought by SpaceX today. SBF invested $200k into Cursor in 2022
He also invested in:
2021- Anthropic: $500M → ~$75B
2022- Robinhood: $648M → ~$5B
2022- Genesis Digital: ~$1.15B → ~$3B
2022- SpaceX exposure: ~$100M → ~$10B
That means if he weren't in jail today and still owned all this equity, he'd be worth ~$100 billion
But because he got a greedy and put customer funds into crypto, he had to divest from all those positions at cost
He'd be top 20 richest people in the world. Now he's just trying not to drop the bar of soap

I’m a huge Elon fan for the longest time even before most people knew who he was. I love everything he does and how he is changing the world basically by himself. That said I feel there is too much hype around SpaceX right now. You will be able to get into it for under $100 eventually. This does not mean I do not think it is a great company. I believe it will do very well make a lot of money and be very successful. I just believe no one should chase any stock up. You could get in at a better price imo.

The buyers, right now, 4 a.m. are going nuts for SpaceX, taking it through $210. They just can't stop buying and as you can imagine, there are no sellers of size around at this hour. The buyers could walk this one up billions and billions of dollars higher without some source of funds arriving.

I can agree with this especially never betting against Elon long term. I personally believe we are lucky to have an Elon Musk in our lifetime similar to Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. I also believe he is Satoshi in my opinion. 🤷🏻♂️

Probably a surge in price for #SPCX on launch (no pun intended)
Then a big pullback after the initial hype wears off, that likely finds a low near EOY aligning with the typical correction stocks get near the end of midterm years.
Long term bullish on SpaceX regardless of short term price action.
A lot of people have lost a lot of money betting against Elon Musk.
I think supporting companies that are changing the world for the better is a good thing.

That said, I still only own 0.25 BTC, which a friend sent me several years ago. Don’t have any crypto holdings.
