It's always funny when people say
$ICP holders are pushing conspiracy theories by claiming
#InternetComputer gets ignored by mainstream (paid) media and influencers.
In 2024, UNDP didn't just invite DFINITY/ICP to join an advisory group. It selected DFINITY as a partner to develop and implement Universal Trusted Credentials on
#InternetComputer.

Then, in 2026, UNDP launched a Blockchain Advisory Group consisting of 26 organizations, not just the 7 mentioned by
@Cointelegraph.

Yet when
@Cointelegraph promoted the initiative,
#ICP somehow didn't make the cut.
Think about that for a second.
In 2024, ICP was already building solutions with UNDP.
In 2026, when the same organization announced a 26-member advisory group, the project actually implementing technology with UNDP was omitted from the coverage.
Apparently, helping UNDP build real-world infrastructure is less newsworthy than being good at getting mentioned.
Maybe it's not a conspiracy.
Maybe it's just a coincidence that for the past five years, ICP, while pushing to put entire applications, AI, storage, smart contracts, and multichain integrations fully onchain, keeps getting left out of the conversation.
You can decide for yourself whether it's just bad luck, or whether ICP threatens an industry built on selling layers, bridges, cloud dependencies, offchain infra, and the narratives used to justify them.
