El Salvador passed the Bitcoin Law, but private banks, as expected, rebelled. Behind the bullish tweets and YouTube videos painting a picture of a flawless bitcoin paradise, a brutal institutional war is raging. Traditional commercial banks are actively weaponizing compliance to freeze corporate accounts and bully founders who dare to put "Bitcoin" in their company name. In this episode, I sat down with Will Hernandez (@whbitcoin) from @asobitcoin to expose the raw friction of building a sovereign economic grid from the ground up. He reveals the exact loopholes legacy finance uses to strangle incoming capital, the tax bottlenecks keeping businesses tethered to the USD system, and how they had to act as financial border control to protect state officials from international grifters. Will also unpacks the Law of Alternative Funds, purchasing real estate through parallel OTC loops, and why autonomous AI agents are choosing Bitcoin over fiat for machine settlement. If you want to understand the reality of completely severing ties with the legacy fiat grid, this is a masterclass in economic survival, straight from Bitcoin Country! Watch the full breakdown here 👇

El Salvador has been getting a lot of international attention lately. Between tourism growth, infrastructure improvements, new business activity, and increasing interest from people looking for a second residency or Plan B, it's a country that many are taking a closer look at. If you're curious about what life in El Salvador actually looks like—or what opportunities are available here—send us a DM. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction.

El Salvador’s Bitcoin adoption is always at the center of attention, but this session reminded us of the important perspectives we need when receiving and interpreting that information. Orange-pilling the people around us is already difficult enough. So a country like El Salvador, which is working on a long-term circular economy project at a national level, deserves more support and encouragement. Not rushed judgment. That is how the spark of hope for Bitcoin adoption can stay alive in other countries as well.🙏 Thank you for preparing such a meaningful and deeply resonant side event. @asobitcoin @bitcoinofficesv @Bitcoinbeach ❤️‍🔥 @romanmartinezc @criptobastardo @giacomozucco @MissBitcoin_ @BitcoinEkasi @FBCEglobal @FredisMolina1 @pameelaposada @r0ckstardev @labitconf

On Monday, @pvitalg will return to the Dominican Congress to meet with lawmakers and present the proposed Bitcoin and Digital Assets Law. At Bitcoin Dominicana, we understand that public policy and private interests are not always the same thing. While businesses and corporations have an important role to play, we believe the voice of the community must also be represented. No organization in the Dominican Republic has accumulated the grassroots Bitcoin education, merchant onboarding, and community building experience that our members have developed over the years. We are accountable only to our principles, our values, and the present and future well being of the Dominican people. Our hope is to help create a framework that fosters innovation, protects freedom, and serves as a model for the rest of the region. Thank you to everyone who has helped us learn throughout this journey, especially @Bitcoinbeach Vamo' al Mambo
