Day 4 of the Lightning Developer Bootcamp in Kampala ⚡️🇺🇬
We started the day by shifting focus from learning to building.
After going deep into Bitcoin and Lightning over the past few days, it was time to put everything into practice.
Participants began building on Lightning, exploring how the concepts they’ve learned can translate into real applications.
Then we moved into something just as important.
Open source contribution.
Our instructor,
@dzeg5, walked participants through the full process step by step. From understanding how open source projects work, to finding issues, making changes, and submitting contributions.
Everything was broken down in the most practical way possible.
And most importantly, participants didn’t just watch.
They did it.
Each participant made their first open source contribution, starting from the basics and going through the full flow themselves using
@btrust_builders open source guide.
We are excited to see what each group will building tomorrow for the hackathon.
