GDP is a flawed measurement that provides an uneven picture of the economy, including as it does all federal government expenditures (money blocked from private expenditure). Measuring in dollars, or any fiat, is also deceptive. One day ➡️ Bitcoin!

Why do governments throughout history resort to war? Of course, they want what the other guy has. But why war? Simple: because they produce nothing and therefore cannot offer value through trade. Result: governments eventually fail.
