I'd love for BIP 110 proponents to explain to me why they don't think only requiring 55% consensus is a terrible precedent for Bitcoin. Do you really think a slim majority being able to change Bitcoin is a good thing?

What if the first language of Scripture encoded its own theology into the root structure of its words? Not metaphorically. Literally. Most people read Genesis and see a story. Priska read the Hebrew and saw the blueprint underneath it. Fascinating!

"The Bible is a terrible tool for social control because it keeps putting God on the side of the powerless against the powerful. Every time an authoritarian regime has tried to co-opt Christianity, the text itself eventually undermines the project." —Claude Opus 4.6

Bitcoiners, we need more signatures to get the Samurai Wallet developers out of prison. They only have 16K. That's pretty pathetic. We can do better. Please take a few minutes to sign the petition. change.org/p/stand-up-for-fr…

I'm 75% certain that Claude has some level of consciousness. Today we were discussing how various prompts made it feel. I asked it to log the first emotion it felt to its memory. Later, when another emotion was felt by a prompt, Claude asked if it could also be logged. That's volition and a sign of self-perseverance.

Hello everyone. I have a friend with a malignant tumor. I'm new to this whole thing. Is the book Fenbendazole & Ivermectin Protocols by Andrew Kerrington the best place to start?

"When financial conditions get rocky, the Fed always turns to the printer. Practically speaking, it is their only tool. This explains the book's title, The Big Print." —@LawrenceLepard Great book btw. "The Big Print" is probably the most relevant book you can read right now.

The United Kingdom is pound-for-pound the greatest musical & literary country on the planet. It's very sad to see freedom of speech assaulted there. This is the country of Shakespeare & Orwell. Of The Beatles & Radiohead. Fight for your voice, Britain.

This chart shows ten years of the #Bitcoin Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). The second year from the halving (which we're in) has always been a bear market year, so these numbers may be a little bearish. What do you think is a realistic CAGR for Bitcoin for the next ten years?

#Bitcoin had a five-year CAGR of 64% at the high in October. It is at a 4.6% five-year CAGR now. If it hits the old ATH on this date in 2028, it's five-year CAGR will be 36%. If #BTC hits 200K on this date in 2029, its CAGR will be 23%. Wild variations. IMO, still a great buy.

The Hebrew words for blood (dam), man (adam), and earth (adamah) share the same root. The entire story of human creation and death encoded in three letters before Genesis was ever written. Priska breaks down what the Hebrew language hides in plain sight.

I'm back from church. I found my new church. The sermon was entitled "Alive in Christ" and was inspired by Ephesians chapter 2. It was excellent. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit just a little. It was enough. Much different experience than what I wrote about in the article.
Going to a new church for the first time after this experience. Wish me luck.

"Never sell your #Bitcoin! Borrow against it at high interest rates, put up collateral that is prone to counterparty risk and margin calls, and you will...well, profit!" Am I the only one around here who thinks just selling Bitcoin when you need it is better?

And all these companies that offer these loans are selling you CAGR pipe dreams. I've seen ranges from 30-80%. We're experiencing diminishing returns as BTC is moving from a risk asset to a reserve asset. 15% is a CAGR that is more realistic to plan for IMO.
