The real @eCash is established and under active development by @Bitcoin_ABC since 2020, and you totally missed it. Another correction: Sztorc fork isn't managing 50k coins, he is manually managing 500k (~3% of the total supply) coins to "early investors". That is ugly and breaks the concept of blockchain immutability. He is causing even more confusion in the market by supporting a Solana token also called eCash. Also, drivechains are obsolete tech since it relies heavily on miners acting as honest arbiters for moving funds (the "two-way peg"). Relying on honest miner behavior is outdated compared to math-enforced, trustless verification. Under BIP300’s hashrate escrow, a coalition of miners could potentially collude to steal or indefinitely lock user funds in a sidechain. This introduces game-theory risks not present in non-custodial bridges.
