Following the @_bdfl AGM meeting last night we were informed we’ve been promoted to B&D Division 1. This is a massive testament to the graft and dedication put in from both players and management through the second half of last season. Plenty of hard work has been going on behind the scenes through the off season to ensure we have a strong season ahead of us. Strange game of football. Went ahead early but fell behind just after half time. Conceded some really poor goals but game ourselves hope with a late goal and came so close to levelling late on. Frustrating result to take for the lads tonight against a very strong @OfficialShireFC side. Lads started really well should really have put ourselves 2 ahead with some great chances and arguably had a pen within the first half hour. However we switched off with a quick free kick from our opponents which saw them take the lead going into the break. From then on there experience and quality showed through and they saw the game out with a deserved late consolation for ourselves.
