Our friends at @BlackSeedVC have just launched their £5M inaugural fund to invest in Black founders. A huge congrats to @KarlLokko, Cyril and Yvonne.
Between 2009 and 2019 black founders only received 0.24% of VC funding according to Extend Ventures.

News from across the pond: venture firm Black Seed raised £5 million to invest in Black founders. It's part of a growing trend of Black funds in the country, where such founders receive less than 0.3% of all VC funds.
