it’s such a shame for cricket fans in Wales when these warm ups are the only ‘World Cup’ games they have. so much for ‘England and Wales’ 🤷♀️
UPDATE: Glamorgan can confirm that tomorrow's ICC Women's T20 World Cup warm-up fixtures at Sophia Gardens are being played behind closed doors, as requested by the ICC.
We appreciate the interest of fans in attending the fixtures, but cannot offer tickets on sale at this stage

The England and Wales Cricket Board are investigating an incident in a nightclub involving Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson following the first Test against New Zealand.
An ECB statement said the pair were involved in a "breach of team protocols" in the early hours of Monday morning, after the conclusion of England's win at Lord's on Sunday.

It was strange that Nathan McAndrew was in Cardiff for the first two Blast games but didn't play. Then I spoke to him after his debut, and it's fair to say after three games in four days, he'll be grateful for a couple weeks of a break.

Big walloping for England Lions by South Africa A today, in a 50-over game that lasted 45.4 overs.
Asa Tribe batting at No.4 just 12 hours after being put in a taxi to take him from a Blast game in Taunton to Grace Road to face Maphaka and Coetzee.
Unsure if that's great prep.
