Embarrassing effort from ECU Baseball tonight. Also, 2nd time we’ve brought in Sean Jenkins in a game that’s not close. Let the kid start, coach. Bringing your best arm in when it’s 7-2 is absurd.

We are 1 Week from the national holiday that is the beginning of @ECUBaseball. Hope springs eternal, but a few things to keep in mind: 1) Lots of new faces and pieces to put together. It may take weeks for CG to figure out the lineup. Let's not panic. Tons of talent on this team. 2) Be positive. I live and die with every pitch and appreciate the passion of our fanbase. Let's lift the boys up - we know that CG teams give their all. 3) We all want Omaha, but enjoy the ride. We are blessed with a perennial winner and routine top 20 program. Not everyone gets to watch elite college baseball night after night. 4) Don't panic if we're at .500 going into April. We play our best baseball in warmer weather. I'd rather peak in May/June. 5) Sometimes you win, Sometimes you lose, Sometimes it rains. Go Pirates.
