Smart move by the Phillies to keep Garrett Stubbs up.
This allows for the Phillies to pinch hit JT Realmuto on his off days while ensuring he does not have to catch for the rest of the game.
Stubbs also has a good planning games for Nola and Painter.
Prior to today’s game against the Miami Marlins, the Phillies reinstated C J.T. Realmuto from the 10-day IL. To make room on the 26-man roster, INF/OF Dylan Moore has been designated for assignment.

Rob Thomson was arguably the best manager in Phillies history.
Never won a World Series, but he was a great manager and had lots of good moments. Definitely a future Wall of Famer.

Everyone could see this inning was not going to go well when they brought Alvarado in.
Tanner Banks absolutely should have been pitching with a fresh inning. He’s been one of the best relievers in baseball.
Probably Thomson’s worst managerial decision so far this season.
