@alaskaair - IT outage yesterday grounds my dad's flight. No communication/absolute chaos. You reschedule him to a flight this AM from LAx. Immediately cancel it. Tell him/others they have "options" to reschedule. I try to reschedule - cannot. Absolute joke of an airline.

Update: I waited 12 hours on text support. They gave me two minutes to respond before they closed out the ticket. Top tier customer service!!

Offering people a refund when same day flights on other airlines now cost 3-5x the price they originally paid is diabolical customer service. If you can't let customers rebook on your site — you should be paying the premiums your customers must pay to book with other airlines.
