I was SCAMMED & my wallets got drained, but I got HELP!
When my MetaMask wallets were compromised, I lost 6 figures in just a few hours. However, with the help of the exceptional team at @BlockAudit I managed to save some 'hidden' and/or staked tokens and NFT's.

Wallet security, contrary to the popular belief, is not a one-size-fits-all strategy.
You may not really need a hard wallet if you assets are worth $1000 or less
And you'll need more than just a hard wallet if your assets are worth $100K

Hot take: the less your assets interact with Bridges and Oracles, the safer they are.
These protocols are the most vulnerable to attacks in crypto, as they often rely on complex smart contracts and external data sources.

it's no rocket science to keep your crypto safe
1. use reputable wallets
2. verify smart contracts
3. beware of phishing attacks
4. use hardware or paper wallets to store private keys
5. use an authentication app for 2FA
6. pay attention to all dApp permissions

TLDR: We recovered $448,556.5 worth of $HYPE tokens for a compromised wallet that was eligible for the @HyperliquidX Airdrop.

Back in 2018, a seasoned trader emailed his private key to himself instead of writing it down.
For "security" reasons, he altered the last 5 characters. What do you think happened?

Our script systematically generated private keys, matched them to the Ethereum address, and compared results to the original wallet address.
