One of the hardest things to explain about chronic illness is that being used to a symptom doesn’t make it mild. It just means you’ve experienced it enough times to stop reacting the way healthy people would. Those are two very different things.

💯 In 2021/22 I watched in horror as my Dem friends, family, & coworkers, all simultaneously adopted a flimsy attitude of “convenient confusion”. The rollback of precautions & protective measures was embraced & celebrated. When I asked why, one said, “You’re making me feel bad”.
I mean when the majority of yall didn’t stand up against them rolling back covid safety measures I knew the the USA would not see a revolution in my lifetime 🤷🏽‍♂️😷

I will never understand how so many of y'all were hoodwinked into believing the government should not use the money YOU PAY IN TAXES to create a social safety net that benefits YOU.

@LACMA @NHMLA @TheBroad Please consider having masks nights every so often for immunocompromised and more vulnerable populace. I promise you, many will attend. Performing arts theaters in SF are selling out masked nights every time.

Who would pay for bots to harass the Covid cautious if Covid was over? If Covid was really over, why are there so many angry trolls? Why do they care? If Covid was over why can’t you say it’s name?

I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard: "Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."

"Life-span altering vascular disease," is very possibly the most accurate description I've seen.
If one person think SARS-CoV-2 means "common cold", and another person knows COVID-19 is a life-span altering vascular disease, we are living in two very different realities my friend

Artificial Intelligence will always lack passion, pain, memories, nostalgia, longing, love and wonder in their art creation process. They can simply recreate the art of creating art and then ask “like this, right?“ Art isn’t just art, it’s heart and soul.

I actually see (to a degree) why people give up all their precautions. Because constantly asking people to protect you (& often being denied), and living life with next to no in person community is hard as hell. I'm not changing a thing, but damn am I burnt tf out.

Apparently the benchmark for success is no longer, “are people healthy?” It’s, “are enough people still alive that we can pretend everything is normal?” It’s the ability to pretend that is most important to these kinds of people. And they’ll pretend even if maimed themselves.

& perhaps someone needs to mention that 1/2 of all COVID infections have no symptoms at all. But getting your COVID booster too soon after COVID infection can leave you feeling very ill & if you already have Long COVID, it'll make it worse. Space boosters out 6 mos after infectns

This article is not about the brain damage that repeat COVID infections cause to everyone, including children. It’s claiming that lockdowns for a few months caused this, even though kindergartners right now were born in 2021. The ignorance is astounding.
