There’s a new political divide forming: If you celebrate when an innocent person whose political views differ from you is assassinated you’re gone. Don’t care what that person’s political persuasion is or how strongly you disagree with them. Cant think of one counterexample.

Blue River Community Foundation’s (BRCF) winter scholarship application cycle is now open at blueriverfoundation.com. Scholarships awarded during this cycle will be distributed during the summer of 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year. The deadline to apply is January 15, 2025.

Indiana University’s President Dr. Pamela Whitten visited BRCF officials and partners yesterday to learn more about Shelby County while paying homage to Bill Garrett, visiting both of his local murals. Artist Pamela Bliss who completed the most recent mural is also an IU grad.
