The fifth of our 50 sports icons is Highlands' Jared Lorenzen. The 'Hefty Lefty' led one of the most prolific offenses for the Bluebirds in 1998, winning a state title. Lorenzen went on to play at UK and owns a Super Bowl ring with the New York Giants.
