KENTUCKY FACT OF THE DAY:
Iraqi immigrant, Mohammad Sabie was hired to teach at Morehead State in 1963 and start a soccer program, leading the Eagles club/varsity team from 1964-1992.
He is considered the “Father of Soccer” in Kentucky!
