If Emily Blunt doesn’t get nominated and win an award next year, I’m gonna riot. @disclosureday performance was true acting and skills you don’t get from any of the other female actresses that have won for performances of low abilities. @goldenglobes @CriticsChoice @BAFTA @TheAcademy

Naturally, you can love or hate a film as much as you want. But if you truly believe a movie so well-shot, well-acted, well-produced, well-directed & well-scored like #DisclosureDay is "one of the worst films of all time"... Buddy, you gotta watch a LOT more movies.

People assumed Disclosure Day was suppose to be like Oscar worthy Christopher Nolan or Dune Level of a movie. SMH. Just cause a director like Steven Spielberg is directing doesn’t mean you were suppose to get greatest movie of the year. It sucks how people reviewing this movie didn’t even understand the movie.

Here’s what you need to know about Disclosure Day since critics aren’t knowledgeable to understand and tell you this. If you’ve not watched it yet. Come back afterwards to read this. The movie isn’t really about aliens. The aliens are a catalyst. The real theme is whether humanity can stop fighting, stop hiding the truth, and actually listen to each other. Margaret and Daniel were chosen for a reason. Throughout the film, both characters are transformed by their childhood encounters. Margaret develops extraordinary empathy, while Daniel has a unique connection to the aliens. The aliens appear to have been preparing them for this moment for years. The audience doesn’t get the full message on purpose. Spielberg cuts to black before we hear the rest. The point isn’t what the aliens said—it’s whether humanity is willing to hear it. Many critics have interpreted the ending as Spielberg directly addressing the audience, asking us to “listen” to each other, to the unknown, and to truths we’d rather avoid

Just watched #DisclosureDay outta @IMAX 👽 @disclosureday is a movie where it doesn’t reveal how and why everything happens throughout the movie until it finally does in a epic way. The idea of how certain people are hiding secrets from the world and truth must be revealed to everyone. Emily Blunt as always delivers. From speaking many languages to giving us powerful emotional moments when it matters. She’s the show stopper in every scene she’s in. Can be funny or just incredible to watch her do what she does best. Final 30 min is where the movie really gets the attention of the audience. It’s interesting and has uniquely powerful moments. You have to watch it again to really understand the movie more.

Emily Blunt loves to sit in the middle of a theatre. And talks about how many times she watched @disclosureday with others and spending time gushing over how she’s in a Steven Spielberg Movie.
