Working corporate makes it hard to have a real portfolio, but here are some of the products I've worked on:
- DC Fuel Pump (Design)
- M130 CAN Gateway (Design)
- ZF SCAM4 (production support)
So the answer was to nudge Grok a lot - provide ball details to get the right era, and identify letters. For example, the signature on the left clearly ends in "ozema" which AI can fill in as Dave Rozema. If I also add that the other signature has two l's in the last name I get a probable identification of John Hiller
A while back I bought a tray of Xenarc 7" VGA monitors for about $1 at auction. Finally looking at them and they use this obnoxious "proprietary" VGA AV to a 20 pin connector.
The major ICs look to be a pixel works PW1306 for image processing and a Xilinx XC9536XL CPLD. There are some other parts that I haven't looked into yet. The PW1306 looks like it takes the video input, so if I can find its pinout I can probably beep out the connector.
I finished this monstrosity! I'm relatively proud of the difficult soldering, but the end result was XGPro whining about "bad pin on ZIF" for nets I thought should be NC. 😢
I'm a little bummed grok couldn't get this. A simple screenshot of the flag led me to the answer through Google images - it's Dugin's Russia flag from the Hearts of Iron IV mod The Fire Rises. Hopefully grok gets better with image search soon.

Good morning! Last night I finished my LED lamp prototype for my son's BRIO trains. Some improvements to be made (battery cover, look for side emitting LEDs) but overall I'm happy with it.
Looking at @sincethestudy's bracket bot and I can't help but remember the segstick, a balancing scooter someone made nearly 15 years ago with drill motors and a broomstick
