On 1-3 July 1863 Robert E Lee was trounced at the battle of Gettysburg and scurried back to Virginia with his tail between his legs. On 4 July 1863 Vicksburg surrendered to US Grant and the Union had full possession of the Mississippi River once again.
After many unexpected delays, I'm glad to announce that the release date for the revised edition of my novel, Up the Creek, will be this coming Saturday, 21 June. More information to come.
