๐ FULL RECIPE (makes ~1 quart)
INGREDIENTS:
30 oz fresh strawberries (divided), 1 1/4 cups sugar (divided), 4 tbsp Cointreau or vodka, 2 cups halfโandโhalf, 1/2 cup corn syrup, 1/2 tsp kosher salt, lemon juice to taste.
DIRECTIONS:
1. Slice 6 oz strawberries thin. Mix with 1/2 cup sugar alcohol. Refrigerate 2h โ 2 days.
2. Blend remaining strawberries 30 sec. Strain. Keep 1.5 cups purรฉe.
3. Whisk purรฉe halfโandโhalf corn syrup 3/4 cup sugar salt lemon juice.
4. Chill to 45ยฐF (7ยฐC), 2โ3 hours.
5. Churn in ice cream maker. Last minute: add marinated strawberries (strain syrup first).
6. Freeze 4 hours. Serve and enjoy with tiny skeleton cowboys.
