I'm 40 years old, and I've never felt better than I do right now.
This is thanks to the list of 5 foods and habits that I built my life around. Here's what they are:
1. 60 ounces of fresh fruit juice
Fruit is the only food on earth that regenerates neurological function. Waking up like this floods my body with hydrating minerals and clean energy before I do anything else.
2. Berries, over a pound of them a day.
Pound for pound the most healing fruit on the planet. The deep color packed into them is pure antioxidant power, the kind that keeps your cells young and your mind clear. I rotate blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and mulberries, and they protect me better than any anti-aging product I've ever tried.
3. Melons, more than two pounds, and always on their own.
Watermelon and cantaloupe are mostly structured water and minerals, which makes them a gift to your kidneys and your lymph. They also digest very fast, so the moment you pair them with something else, they sit and ferment in your gut. Eat your melon alone, and it works exactly the way it was designed to.
4. Vegetables and a big salad, every day.
Peas, green beans, asparagus, broccoli, beets, and an avocado or two. This is where my deep minerals and real fiber come from. The avocado gives me the healthy fat, and the beets clean my blood and feed the liver.
5. Sea vegetables like nori and dulse.
I'll be honest, I haven't had this in a while, but they carry iodine and trace minerals that most people are deficient in. Iodine feeds your thyroid - the gland that controls your entire metabolism.
I eat about 80% of these raw and organic when I can get them.
This is the magic pill that everyone's looking for - real foods, eaten consistently, the way the body was made to receive them.
