More tales of the #Cubs offense. Colorado starter Randy Feltner needed 104 pitches to get through 4.2 innings. Cubs collected 6 hits, 3 walks, but trail 5-2. They are 0-for-7 with RISP so far

I asked Mitch Marner if he could elaborate on the “dark days” comment he made during Media Day. Poignant response about mental health:

The Bulls landed on Splitter due to his ability to lead the team’s player development, organizational alignment on the franchise's direction and vision, and his leadership and knowledge base as a coach rising through the ranks since 2018 as well as a seven-year NBA player with one championship with the San Antonio Spurs. Splitter, 41, guided the Trail Blazers to a 42-40 record and a postseason berth as the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference amid adversity stemming from Chauncey Billups’ federal charges. Sources said top Bulls officials, including Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Bryson Graham and his front-office staff, met with four finalists for the head coaching job last week in Chicago: Splitter, Minnesota Timberwolves assistant Micah Nori, Atlanta Hawks assistant Ryan Schmidt and current Bulls assistant Wes Unseld Jr.
BREAKING: The Chicago Bulls are finalizing the hire of Portland Trail Blazers interim Tiago Splitter as the franchise's new head coach, sources tell ESPN. Splitter succeeds Billy Donovan as the Bulls' coach after stepping into the head job and excelling in Portland last season.

On this day in 2015, the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup beating the Tampa Bay Lightning in 6 games. It was the first time since 1938 that the Cup was raised in Chicago after a home game win. #chicago #history
