Dulce de Uva - @bloomseedco cut Dry: 14 days at 60F/60%RH Cure: 20 days Flower time: 63 days Yield: 1.3 pounds dry 2 pounds fresh frozen (should have rosin back this weekend) This cut from bloom, might be the easiest to grow plant I've ever seen. Cuts are always the cutest rooted, plants have a solid range of climate without stress. The buds are super gassy...until you bust it up, then you get hit with this crazy grape/cream/cake nose. Smoke is super thick, rich, and flavorful. Reminds me more of hash smoke then flower. Buds are dense, sticky, matted with trichomes, but not very large. It packs a good quick punch, but does have a pretty significant burn out. Overall....FIRE.

People think I'm just nit picking terms when I talk about Phenotype vs Genotype. That couldn't be further from the truth. If you track all the qualities you want in plant they are all adaptations made via threat response mechanism (definition of a phenotypical change) EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Hunting the way everyone currently does is further homiginizing strains, they all still carry the exact genome but in different weights. When you truly Phenotype hunt, by exposing plants to system threats in the environment a lot will die, but some will produce something new to the genome. This goes far beyond genetic memory and has to do with the secondary metabolite system, and overall plasticity of one of the most incredible plants on the planet. DO. BETTER.

What a fucking wild storm in the prairies yesterday. I had 22 of these in total. The work never stops. I've got my Dulce all trimmed and curing, my space cleaned out and reset, transplanted about 35 seedlings, cleaned pots, flood trays, res. Next up is setting up a lung room, then when the peaches is dry in a couple days ill finish my extension, mount my matrx 630f, mount my new Gavita uv bar, add a couple more fans, then seal it all off again....by the time that's done it will be time to transplant again, then start taking cuts off all these...and all of that will be done solo.

Story Time: Remember how up in arms the world was about how Nelson Mandella was confined? He spent 15 straight days in isolation, with only 30 minutes outdoors time a day. Well, when I was just 16, I was held in total isolation 24/7 fluorescent lights, no clock, no windows, no bed, blanket, pillow, no showers, no phone calls, no outdoor time, no reading, no writing, no radio or tv, fed through a slot in the door with s toilet in my room. I spent 20 straight days like that. After 48 hours in those conditions its deemed a war crime by the Geneva convention. 15 days was made a war crime in the conditions that Mandela was held in. Let that sink in. I spent 20 days in conditions deemed a war crime on fully grown adult soldiers after just 2 days. I was only a kid. I've had to be tougher both mentally and physically than 99% of the world, countless times in my life and I have always risen to meet yhe challenge. I'm built different.

This shit baffles my mind. Neither of these dudes could comprehend a phenotype adaptation. Pheno=External/Environmental Geno= Genetic expression. Like I say all the fucking time...90% of you are so retarded you don't even know you don't pheno hunt.

Another couple days before the rest of the Dulce is dry, but at least I got a full jar for now. No cure yet, but just an overwhelming gas smell with a grape undertone. I do expect that to balance out once cured.

There ain't many people who move like me. Most of you have no idea what it takes, to be where all the bucks stop. I'm the provider, the nurturer, the cook, the cleaner, the errand runner, the handyman. In my life if I don't do it, it doesn't get done. I don't get to delegate because there is no one to delegate too. I have to pick myself off the floor and get shit done no matter how I feel. While doing all of that, I rebuilt from 2 suitcases after moving 2400km away from anyone I'd ever known. Straight the fuck up....the actual ignorance to science that most "high end" breeders have is mind boggling. As a grower you have to wear multiple hats. You need to be a plumber, an electrician, an hvac guy, a chemist...but you also need to be a scientist, and an engineer. You need to understand what your plants need beyond ppfd and ec, you need to know why those specs on your equipmemt matter, you should be on the forefront of all of this...not getting schooled by a 38 year old dude who albeit has smoked for a quarter century but knew 0 about growing a plant 4 years ago. Step the fuck up, or y'all bout to step the fuck out. While you throw cookies pollen, and focus on fruity flavours, still clinging to HPS because you don't accrual know why it makes a difference in flowering, not even knowing the difference between a pheno hunt and a geno hunt... I'm over here learning everything about the chemical composition of the plant, how it evolved, why it adapted, what happened to the variety of effects, why did us old heads get so much higher when weed was 20%, what happened to creepers, the trip out, where did chocolates go. I'm floored. I popped these beans straight in here Sunday afternoon. I didn't expect them to be out at all. Almost 100% germed in 3.5 days. That's 40 seeds of 4 different cultivars. It's clear @SeedAttics put in the work a lot of breeders don't. This speed and consistency doesn't just happen.
