Today is the 84th anniversary of the bombing of Gernika. A war crime that led to Picasso’s masterpiece and my mum being part of the largest ever single evacuation of children from a war zone to the UK.

Posh bloke, golf club type, has taken over the local. Promised all sorts, getting prices down and some decent local ales on. A month in and prices are up, it takes ages to be served as the Polish lass has been let go and he’s serving up rubbish like this.
