can’t believe there are many people I know who aren’t already familiar with Tom Waits’ masterpiece Swordfishtrombones, released 40 years ago, but if you’re lucky enough to be able to listen to it for the first time, I strongly recommend you do just that.
For me, it’s the genius work of one of the most interesting & influential musical artists of the late 20th Century.
It’s was one of those albums that seemed to connect the past to the present and project it all forwards towards an exciting future.

Not entirely sure what it means but it’s nice to see that someone somewhere is streaming the album on Spotify. If you use that platform, why not jump on in and join them? I like to imagine the water will be lovely and the views spectacular. Hopefully, the music will be OK too
