ALT Welcome to a perfectly ordinary summer… that is about to become perfectly ridiculous. Gemima is quite certain of three things: 1. School is dreadfully boring. 2. Adventures are far more sensible than homework. 3. Woodland signs that say KEEP OUT are clearly meant for adults. So, on the very first morning of the summer holidays, Gemima does what any reasonably curious (and slightly stubborn) child would do - she climbs a fence and wanders into the woods in search of adventure. What she finds instead is far stranger. A mischievous pixie with a terrible sense of humour. A pinch of very inconvenient pixie dust. And a sudden, alarming reduction in size. Now no taller than a teacup (and missing her shoes entirely), Gemima is sent on an outrageous quest to the mysterious Funghi Inn - a secret woodland pub run entirely by mushrooms, where the rules are baffling, the drinks are suspicious, and humans are most definitely not on the guest list.
