Our teachers deserve better. In most places teachers earn 24% less than comparable college graduates. This must stop – how are we to recruit and retain teachers when most teachers need multiple jobs to do what they love? It’s unacceptable.

You have no responsibility to live up to what other people think you ought to accomplish. I have no responsibility to be like they expect me to be. It's their mistake, not my failing.

34 percent of Harvard students are white. 43 percent of those students are either legacies, children of faculty, kin of donors or a recruited athlete. 75 percent of them would not have gotten in if not for special status (National Bureau of Economic Research). But when in doubt, blame the Black people!
