Iโm a Border/Lakeland cross, living in the highlands. Named after the legendary Lakeland fell runner. Iโm no slouch myself. #BTPosse CBE 2021, OBE 2024
Mum has been out ALL day at a bowling competition (which she didnโt even win!) and apparently sheโs going to be out all day tomorrow at one as well ๐ก I have taken up my position for the evening and Iโm not moving!
At Last! A bit of brightness for our walk with M&D ๐ but they still needed their coats because there was quite a breeze. Time for a rest now, after our dinner ๐
It was a wet one this morning pals! Rained for the entire walk, although just eased a little at the viewpoint. None of us were that impressed, but Mum says at least we earned our lunchtime food ๐
Been dodging heavy showers all morning! Peggyโs coat did make an appearance later ๐ We had a good walk though. Stopped to watch the wee boat on the loch as it set sail for the mahoosive black cloud ๐ฒ
Had a great day, met up with pals at the Blair Atholl tweetup, which was small but perfectly formed! Then later on we went for a walk with the Wickets @HWicket up to The Whin and admired the view ๐
Went to visit the Wicketwagon this afternoon. @HWicket dad had treats! Then Wickie and Haggis had a snuggle together (Peggy never snuggles up to me, canโt think why ๐ค)
Weโve been for a super walk this morning. Look, we walked across a firing range!! Although mum said it was fine because the red flag wasnโt flying. Then we stopped at a bridge, half way round, and looked at the river Tilt. Off to see @HWicket the Wickets, later this afternoon ๐
Double treats for us today! Not only are we heading off to Blair Atholl for the weekend, after lunch, but we also scored a super Friday Run with the Old Ladies and my pals Nan and Ted ๐๐๐ Shame Nanโs mum chopped her head off in the second pic ๐ฒ
Damp but also quite warm for our walk this morning so mum and the aunties all looked a bit bedraggled by the time we got to the viewpoint ๐. Peg and me on high alert because weโd just spotted another person heading our way!
Bertie @bertie_lakeland my mum says a big thank you to your lovely dad for these beautiful flowers, and that heโs welcome here any time (and you, of course!). I say heโs welcome any time because he brings us lots of treats from Bobโs shop @bemorebob2 ๐๐๐โค๏ธ
Pals, Bertie and his dad are staying with us! Weโve had a great walk this afternoon, and now weโre all resting while mum and Bertieโs dad start on the wine. Could be a long night.๐ฒ๐ท๐ท๐ท
Weโve had a very wet walk this morning, but didnโt mind because there were loads of deer (including some little baby ones ๐ฅฐ) for us to watch. I was good, and didnโt bark too much at them ๐
Had a good Friday Run with the Old Ladies, a pleasant temperature, and even some spells of cooling drizzle for us ๐. Having a wee snooze now ๐ค๐ค๐ค
Beautiful morning here๐ we went up to the noms bench, which pleased Peggy, then had a leisurely stroll down the hill stopping now and again to enjoy the view.
Had a walk above the loch and over the moor. Not a sniff of a deer though, pfft ๐ก But then just before we got back to the car, one crossed our path in front of us and ran down the hill, so I had a good bark and it was all worth the effort after that ๐
Had a lovely walk with mum this morning. No problems up here with too much heat or sunshine๐ although even on such a cloudy day, the bluebells are still looking fabulous ๐๐๐
Weโre living the good life with Karen and Ange while M&D continue to explore piles of stones in Orkney. Think mum is quite offended that weโre not missing her at all ๐
