We are delighted to announce that we have secured funding from @MossyEarth to plant mountain birch, and high elevation growing downy birch at Talla & Gameshope. These 3135 trees will be used to establish a high elevation birch woodland above our lower mixed broadleaved woodland

The planting will include an innoculation trial, designed by Rhizocore to establish if mycorhizzae inoculation aid survival and establishment in these trees when growing at altitude. Rhizocore will culture the mycorhizzae pellets for the innoculations when planting.
