Taxing all capital gains (not just short-term) the same as income would solve very many incentive problems.
Also, increase the federal gas tax 1 penny per month until it seems safe to stop.
Also, make a highest income tax bracket marignal rate 50%.
Also, increase estate taxes.

The 3 point shooting of @Al_Horford is really impressive. He didn't come into the league shooting 3-pointers. Now he's money from the middle when open and set. Given his height, he doesn't need a lot of space to be open.
He must have put in a lot of work.
