So enjoyed spending the afternoon in Ms. Beck's 5th grade math class! Nothing better than Number Rock, small group, & perimeter/area! It's been a bit since I worked w/a small group, & my teacher heart is full! Hard-working kids, great teacher, lots of learning!

During our vertical PLC this afternoon @DeZavalaSMCISD, Kinder-2nd grade teachers did a wonderful job refreshing one another on the 7 Steps to a Language rich, Interactive Classroom. Such good strategies that can have a big impact on student achievement.

Great visit β¦@DeZavalaSMCISDβ© to listen and learn from 4th grade teachers as they debriefed after peer learning walks. Teachers came back and shared an observed practice, why the practice was effective and the impact on student learning. β¦β¦
