The incident comes just a few hours after the crash of a Russian Tupolev Tu-22M3 longe-range bomber in central-east Russia.
U.S. Air Force Boeing B-52H Stratofortress strategic bomber crashed at the Edwards Air Force Base in California shortly after take-off.
The crash occured at approx. 11:20am local on Monday.
"Emergency crews immediately responded to the scene and the situation is ongoing. More information will be provided as it becomes available," Edwards AFB said in a statement.

Russian Tupolev Tu-22M3 long-range bomber crashed during a training flight in Russia's Irkutsk Oblast on Monday.
All crew-members reportedly managed to eject safely.
The crash was said to be caused by the engine failure. This is the fourth Russian Tu-22M3 bomber lost due to technical malfunction since the beginning of 2024.

๐ญ TAIF-NK has a refining capacity of approximately 7.3 million tonnes per year.
