We used protein engineering to develop cocaine-gated ion channels. Our approach simplifies chemogenetic applications for cocaine addiction by having cocaine itself activate inhibitory and/or excitatory channels. Collaboration between @mikelides @BrainCaRMA rdcu.be/eCJK4
