Pleased to give the opening speech at the William Cuffay Festival recognising the impacts of closures on communities in the 1980s whether that a coal mine or a dockyard.
With people being sacked by Zoom it shows there is still much to do.

For years Labour @KevanJonesMP has been officially asking for her CBE to be withdrawn.
Here is his SECOND letter to the Honours Forfeiture Committee 👏🏼👏🏼
The award of a CBE to Paula Vennells, "a person who resided over the widest miscarriage of justice in English legal history, is utterly wrong and deeply insulting to those who suffered prosecutions during her tenure."
We await the reply from a Committee which needs to pull its finger out.

Working undercover as a postie has give me enormous respect for the work they do.
Nearly all of them are as passionate and dedicated as this postie I spoke to👇
They’re under enormous pressure to deliver - but without the proper support customers are being let down.
Here is one of our members, overworked and under pressure who has gone back to work in his own time to go through the work he has been told to leave behind and find the birthday cards of a 94 year old customer.
Postal workers are incredible and they deserve support.
