Court of Appeal rules Ofsted inspector sacked for brushing water off child’s head was unfairly dismissed.
In a unanimous judgment, the judges said it was “deeply regrettable” the “experienced inspector with an unblemished record on safeguarding issues” had been sacked unjustifiably.

As an NEC member for the West Midlands, I would like to add my voice and support to the Police Staff Members who had to endure this dreadful behaviour. The vast majority of delegates supported us and showed solidarity against those who work against our unions objectives.

Last wk at UNISONs conf, mems from Police, Probation & CAFCASS were treated appallingly, UNISON activists from other parts of our union attacked, vilified, harassed and disenfranchised us from this union. Some PP&C members and others felt unsafe. @cmcanea GSec has written to us
