This is Magpul's 6.8x51mm magazine for the Sig Spear NGSW rifle selected by the army. The US Army conducted a market survey for commercial 6.8 and 7.62 NATO magazines for the Spear in February of 2023. This was more than likely Magpul's offering to the Army after the survey.

This scene from the supermarket hostage rescue was surreal back in 2015. Its the first time you see a hostage rescue that's already had dead victims with another assault at a different location that happened almost simultaneously. Simultaneous assault that even had belt fed guns.

A few years ago Sig won a contract for their MODX-9 suppressor to equip SOCOM's standard pistol the Glock MK27 (G19). To this day I've yet to see a single MK27 equipped with a MODX-9 much less a suppressor outside of the SOCOM pistol suppressor trials.
