Investigation of his phone showed he explicitly chose to reply only to a lone female respondent while ignoring male or business applicants. When the victim arrived at his apartment on April 6, 2026, Jackson blindsided her in the bathroom. He stabbed her in the face, neck, and eye with a screwdriver. He also choked her until she nearly lost consciousness. Jackson held the victim captive for nearly five hours. He repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted her while threatening to kill her if she tried to escape. The victim managed to survive by convincing Jackson to take her to Northside Cherokee Hospital. She promised to tell medical staff that her injuries were from an accidental fall. Once at the hospital, the victim immediately disclosed the truth to medical staff. Canton Police Department officers arrested Jackson as he sat waiting in the lobby. Medical evaluations revealed the victim suffered an orbital fracture, facial trauma, and multiple active brain bleeds. Jackson pleaded guilty to all 10 criminal counts. These included two counts of rape, three counts of aggravated sodomy, kidnapping, aggravated assault, two counts of aggravated battery, and terroristic threats. A judge sentenced Jackson to life in prison with the possibility of parole, followed by 40 years of strict probation. He must also permanently register as a sex offender and pay restitution to the victim.
