I read Wurmbrand's "Tortured for Christ" years ago and never forgot it. The unspeakably sadistic cruelty that he and others were subjected to due to their faith in Jesus shook me to my depths. Communists screamed with rapturous joy, "We are the devil!" as they tormented them.

Yeah, this is worth reposting.

This passage, Isaiah 66:8a, has been on my mind constantly of late, particularly as the world keeps convulsing. "Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment?" Eyes on the Lord, always.

Whoever Jesus is to you is who He'll be through you. And there's an undeniable struggle in following Him; it's hard and requires full surrender, and no one does it perfectly. If you're sneering at people on here out of a smug sense of your doctrinal sophistication? Yeah, no.

Man...there are days when it just feels like we're playing a huge game of whack-a-mole with evil. You bop one and gain ground, and another one (of a different flavor) springs up out of seemingly nowhere and explodes. I guess it's life in a fallen world, but it's pretty tiresome.

While they are both destructive, wolves inside churches are far worse than those outside. And it's not even close. Those inside often say true things and do some objective good. Thus, many sheep do not discern the threat. And God? He sees it all. And He won't be mocked.

These parents are essentially being put through re-education in order to try to force them to believe in gender ideology. I have seen this being done to other parents with the carrot that they MIGHT Get to see their child again. They didn’t pass lying about their beliefs so were denied access to their child. Let me re-phrase, they tried capitulating to this system in order to see their child again and were STILL denied access. This is just to torture and shame parents who are non-believers. It’s sick and depraved. I happen to know there were people in the state of Washington who wanted to take our child and put us through this torture. They told our daughter we would have to take parenting classes. We were lucky we escaped the state with our daughter.
