Book study w/ @jluss@mrsschlicker@MrsTEarnshaw@msnfekete#rsd13ctpd lots of ideas resonating already esp making thinking visible- learning is communal, it’s a process not a product & when we share w/ others we do our best, compare & adjust our own ideas using digital tools
What a beautiful day for a field trip and the last full day of school! The weather cooperated, we learned, explored and had some fun!! Thank you to @BrendaParness and @MsMikeRSD13 and all the chaperones!! #brewster13#rsd13ct
We created a plan and then coded a path to navigate through the plan with various coding robots. Creativity and thinking at its finest #brewster13#rsd13ct
Students were so excited to try out new elements of STEM! Coding robots help us with strategic thinking, planning and collaboration #brewster13#rsd13ct@BrendaParness
Geeking out! I’m coaching an AMAZING teacher who planned to take 150 essays home to grade over spring break. Instead, we designed station rotation (minus teacher-led station) & she is conducing side-by-side grading in class. She’ll have most done before she leaves on break🎉
#FiveMinuteShakespeare. Students studied the plot of a Shakespeare play and created a five-minute adaptation, mixing original text with modern language. Here: “The Taming of the Shrew”.
The kindergartners loved being interviewed by their 2nd grade buddies in @MELundt’s class & making @Flipgrid videos to share. Engaged & motivated don’t even begin to describe these kiddos! #brewster13#rsd13ct
Just helped some of our awesome 7th grade ELA and Social Studies teachers submit their students’ leadership podcasts! Good luck 👍🏻🍀 @BanasLINDSAY#StongMS#rsd13ct
