Finally got enough courage to cut up a vintage postcard!!! I have been collecting paper ephemera for years but was paralyze when it came to using it. Somehow, I felt like I was destroying an important part of history.

Possibly my favourite mark making tool, charcoal on smooth paper. I just love how it glides over the paper and blends within the fibres. The fact that it is made from tree branches makes all the more exciting especially when it comes in large pieces. I o… ift.tt/2wqpznX

Bold strokes of colour for collage. These are quite addictive as there is no end to what you can create and combine. I like using different support material and see how they interact with each other creating a more textural artwork.
