A recent tank-skirt #fireproofing job. 🔥 We first blasted off the existing coatings to SSPC-SP10, then applied a three-part @PPG fireproofing system including a primer coat of Amercoat 370, Pitt-Char NX with mesh and lastly a topcoat of Amercoat 450H. #coatings

This metal refining facility was in need of a strong floor coating in their scrubber containment area to protect against hydrofluoric acid. Our BBT crew laid a Blome carbon filled vinyl ester trowel-mat-trowel system with a carbon fiber reinforced mat layer. (1 of 2!)

Our Brick, Block & Tile (BBT) crew recently worked on rebuilding this tank pad that had been eaten away over time by acid. We started by cleaning up the area, putting in new rebar and then pouring new concrete. #concreterestoration #universalblastco

While you're slathering on the sunscreen ☀️, we're rolling on the @PPG PITT-TECH acrylic coating to these FRP pipes all over a power plant. Since the original exterior gel coat had deteriorated, these FRP pipes were left susceptible to UV damage (sunburn). 👍 #coatingsindustry

Who did the largest single #rubberlining application in the US? 🙋♂️ This nuclear waste tank's floor spanned 2.5 acres! We installed over 7,000 pieces of pre-vulcanized rubber to cover all 160,000 square feet of the tank’s interior. bit.ly/2U7t279
