I have critiqued gender ideology and trans extremism until I’m blue in the face. But @sullydish is flat out wrong here. First of all, the nosedive in gay marriage support is not due to trans people.Sexism, antisemitism, transphobia, homophobia are all rising. It’s a mix of the rise of the online right and a breakdown of social norms. It’s simply more socially acceptable to be a bigot today. The right wing is targeting us, but they will not stop with us. They will come for gays next, regardless of if trans people have civil rights. I would argue our end would accelerate that. Secondly, I grow tired of his eagerness to throw trans children on the alter and sacrifice them for gay convenience. We are not gay, we’re something different and more complicated. This does not have to be all of nothing thinking. We can get the right kids the right help, He refuses to acknowledge that trans children fundamentally shatter without access to medicalized transtion. He has to mislead the public as if it’s butchering gay men. I mean this respectfully, but when I did his show, the main thing I was thinking was how his paradigm about transsexuality was bad and highly filtered through his early childhood experiences with sex. Gender ideology has to go, but that doesn’t mean that trans people are not real and don’t deserve medicalized health care. He’s being as extremist as the trans fringe he is critiquing.

I dress modestly, I’ve been monogamously married to a man for 18 years and y’all still treat me like ***. The truth is trans women will get screamed at no matter what we do.

I don’t understand people that cannot instantly tell from photos trans women are supposed to be this way. As a boy, I was this anorexic, gawky, awkward mess. As a woman I am lithe, confident and bursting with energy. And it’s like this for most early onset trans women, we just obviously not meant to be men. I’m so exhausted with politics that start with the assumption we should not exist and work backwards to justify it. You can’t make us what we are not. Lord knows y’all try to beat, shame and force the femininity out of us. All it does is damage children for life. It does not stop us from being what we are.

Can some Israeli tell me who this absolute DIVA was yesterday at your pride music festival? I would actually love a whole performer set list because Israeli EDM is great.

I’m often get asked why I don’t get lip filler. It’s not because I like having thin lips. It’s because I don’t think large lips look natural on women over 40. Being really honest, when you’re older, the goal of plastic surgery is not to make you look 20. It’s to make your age more indeterminate, a state where you look 50 and 30 simultaneously. I think this is why trans women and women that fight aging with plastic surgery end up with the same aesthetic. As someone that loves thoughtfully constructed femininity. I think it’s beautiful, but it’s also not natural. So for me, because artificiality is baked into being trans I would rather err on the side of looking natural. Because for us, the artificiality looks clocky.

It’s so insulting that women with bad haircuts want to equate this “transmasc” silliness with actual crippling gender dysphoria. I literally didn’t speak in elementary school for three years, trying to hide my feminine traits and be the boy they demanded. I would literally go to the bathroom to cry, wanting desperately to dress and act like myself. And this was when my mental health was relatively good. My grades kept plummeting the older I got. By sixth grade, I would cut myself in my room at night because the pain felt better than the gender dysphoria. By the time I was 19, I was blackout drinking at every opportunity just to not feel anything. And these people come along with their progressive ideology and want to say they’re the same thing? This is a woman with a slightly androgynous presentation and that’s all.

I’m calling it right now. I think Clavicular is going to transition. Every decision she’s making is entirely reasonable to me. These are not thoughts normal heterosexual males have.
