**Happy Flag Day, everyone! 📷**
There’s something deeply satisfying about replacing the American flag—especially today. Taking down the old, weathered one that’s stood through rain, wind, and sun, then raising a crisp new one that snaps proudly in the breeze. It feels like a fresh start, a quiet act of respect and renewal for everything she represents.
As Robin Williams so brilliantly voiced in his ode to the flag:
*"Thank you very much. I’m the one that they’re singing about. Yeah, I’m the Stars and Stripes forever. Star Spangled Banner. You can call me Old Glory but let’s just keep it simple… just call me Flag."*
And at the end, he nailed it:
*"I’m just a flag, a symbol. You’re the people… Long may you wave."*
Today, as we honor the day our flag was officially born (June 14, 1777), let’s remember that every time we raise her, we’re saluting not just cloth and colors, but the enduring spirit of liberty, resilience, and the American people who keep that spirit alive.
Fly it high, treat it with care, and let it wave proudly! 📷📷📷
