The theme for today is redefining access for women. Access to opportunities, funding, knowledge. And as we redefine access, how do we nurture a culture and mindset for women to take up these opportunities? #suisterhoodkenya #decentrixafrica #Vumanabusha

If startup villages want to get things right, they should study what powered @zuAfrique’s “human layer” framework. I’m talking about why more organizers should steal that playbook. reach out to talk more!

So much happened at ZuAfrique, the connections, the shifts, the laughter, the aha moments. But what really made it hit different? The Human Layer. Where real people, real stories and real emotions took center stage. Some stories just need to be heard out loud. Tuesday, 10th June, we are hosting an X-space with the residents themselves. ⏰ 2PM GMT | 3PM GMT 1 | 5PM EAT Set your reminder, it’s one you’ll want to be part of.

"You think: what else is possible?" A realization that the sky was never the limit, just the illusion of one.

Once you’ve felt what it’s like to create in freedom, you can’t unfeel it. You don’t go back to business as usual. You build bolder. You collaborate deeper. You think: what else is possible? That’s the energy we’re taking into this new week😎

Week 1: We delved into African heritage, explored the meaning of value, and ignited a movement of empowerment through dance, music, poetry, and insightful discussions with Eric from @ayahq_. This was a testament to community, knowledge sharing, and celebrating our shared heritage

#ZuAfrique is opening up and experiencing a real mindset shift. We’re building a new framework one rooted in sharing, real human connections, and honest conversations. This week, we're focusing on moving away from an extractive mindset not thinking about what we can take, but about what we can give. As Africans, it's time we start asking ourselves: What can we do for Africa? not just what Africa can do for us. ZuAfrique is more than a popup city event, it’s a new movement. A new human-layer framework for Africans, by Africans.
