We are posting to all who have signed EDM240. We would welcome the oppportunity to sit down with each MP and say just why the EHRC guidance is necessary; a chance to see it as a positive step for lesbians, gays and women. We are LabourLGB!

This clip nicely illustrates the entire transgender movement.
A man pretending to be a woman, suspected of murdering a little boy, publicly assaulted female journalists. Naturally Australian media referred to him as "she".

What this man wants you to think he looks like with a filtered to death pic verses reality and what he really looks like. Just another transvestite larping as a woman and doing it badly

Hello all. A quick update from me. My sex screen assay is progressing well. I promised rapid: I can detect SRY from a cheek swab in about 30 minutes. I am currently testing whether I can drop it to 10 minutes without compromising reliability. I promised cheap: The current cost per assay is about £2. I am currently testing whether I can drop this to below the pound line, and it’s very promising. I promised accessible: The assay could be run by any grassroots sports coach, school nurse, and my Mum. I promised on-site: This is where my lab efforts are currently focussed. I’ve always held “from the UK to Uganda” as a principle, and ensuring easy deployment is crucial. I’m currently learning a lot of materials science… The other main push is setting up various blinded, larger-scale tests. This will require lots of form filling. If anyone wants to help me hit my final budget target, my crowdfunder is here.
Every girl deserves a fair chance in sports. Developing a rapid, low-cost sex screening method can protect women’s categories and promote equality. Your support can make this vision a reality. Please share and consider donating to help fund this crucial research! gofund.me/632105634

Meanwhile the Lib Dem run council in Kingston upon Thames thinks e-bikes are good as women can get home to do the housework and look nice on the commute. Just remember ladies: if you want to get home in time to put the dinner on the Lib Dems have your back. If you’d like to get changed without men present, then the Lib Dems probably think you are a transphobic bigot.

Replying to @QcWynter @poz_woods
The term 'cisgender' was used throughout documents prepared for us on HoC Women and Equalities Select Committee yesterday, despite it's dictionary definition being 'not trans'. So a contested term that many women (51% of UK pop) find offensive, just slipped in to official docs...

I'm so fucking tired yall. Lesbians (and gays) have been persecuted for hundreds if not thousands of years because we are exclusively same sex attracted. In many countries we are still criminalized, tortured, raped and murdered bc of it. But the LGBT- "community", that should have our back, and the Pride-movement that literally was started by and for us, now tell us that exclusive same sex attraction doesn't exist, and if you insist that it does, you're a transphobic bigot. I thought we had progressed beyond the idea that homosexuality is a sin in the west. I thought it was decided that there's nothing wrong or shameful in being gay/lesbian, and loving only the same sex is completely okay. If you think lesbians can be into males (regardless of how they identify inside their head), ask yourself this; Why have society tried, and failed, to force homosexuals into opposite-sex relationships? Why was conversion therapy ever even a thing? Why are gays murdered in other countries for being gay? If lesbians and gays can be opposite-sex attracted, why don't they find an opposite-sex partner, to escape the persecution that society has commited against us, and still commits against us outside of the west? As a lesbian, I know the answer; homosexuals are NOT opposite-sex attracted, and that's exactly why we are persecuted and an oppressed minority. It's literally impossible for us to be sexually attracted to the opposite sex, and thousands, if not millions, of gays and lesbians have been abused, criminalized and murdered bc of it. So when you get on twitter and spout lies like "lesbians can like dick" and "gay men can like pussy", you are spitting every gay and lesbian person who has suffered persecution, right in the face. You can colonize our language, steal and redefine our words, shame us into silence and label us terfs. Homosexual men and women, ACTUAL gays and lesbians, will continue to exist. But fuck you for setting us back decades in the fight for gay/lesbian acceptance. You are the new conversion therapists.

This thread is hilarious 😆 In which a TRA discovers that you can never be pure enough for the TRAs 🤡
A highly respected and trailblazing surgeon in the British Army - Dr James Barry. Born in 1789, James went on to qualify as a doctor in 1812, and then on to a distinguished career in military medicine for over 40 years. It was only discovered he was trans after his death.

The disturbing thing is that the Athena Swan scheme (Advance HE) is in most UK universities & actively pushes for ‘gender identity’ to be treated as more important than sex. It is pushed by activist academics & is rewarded by the universities gaining gold, silver or bronze awards
This unqualified bore says his secondhand opinions are “not up for debate.” Yes they are. At a university all opinions are up for debate. If you cannot defend your opinions rationally, either they are indefensible or you are too stupid to defend them. In either case you have no right to force them on students who have expressed their wish to attend a lecture by doing so. thetimes.com/uk/education/ar…

Quick thoughts on the disruption & cancellation of @michaelpforan's lectures: -This was not simply a protest. Protest is legitimate. Disruption of others' right to be heard is not (cf. Karl Popper). -While the students are likely to have violated University conduct policies, the final responsibility lies with those providing security. Reports from those who were present suggest those who disrupted the lecture were admitted despite being recognised. Again maybe OK. This isn't the local pub. But the disruption should have been dealt with much more quickly. -Like @dfkodsi I was initial disappointed at the cancellation. Feels like giving in. Have since found out more about further threats. -This is against a background of more or less constant threats and disruption of events with a sex realist of sex-based rights. For over a decade now. -Extensive attempts are being made to suggest that only half a dozen people were present. Video (and reports) suggest just over 30. But so what if it was 1,000 or just one. The audience deserve to be able to listen and discuss without having that sabotaged. thetimes.com/uk/education/ar…

“The students who attended also confirmed that, although they had made complaints to the proctors about the disruptive and intimidating nature of the demonstration at @michaelpforan’s first talk, the officials allowed the activists to protest at a second lecture.” 😳😩🙄

Imagine going to see a lecture by a foremost expert and ending up being hectored by two Main Character Syndromes instead. Universities are meant to be the engine of our progress. This is like the spluttering farts of a Soviet era Lada.

The Curse Of Steph strikes again. Portsmouth Pride was cancelled due to bad weather 😆 Jus tlike Steph supporting Labour in the local elections helped the Lib Dems win Portsmouth council 😆
Tomorrow I will be at Portsmouth Pride volunteering with 'Unite the Union' and 'Women Against the Far Right'. No doubt @RosieDuffield1 and @SuellaBraverman will make a complaint to @thetimes

The activists who disrupted the talks given by @michaelpforan may have had a little short-term success in stopping him carry on. In the longer term, however, they can be sure that more people will now hear and read his talks than before. That’s how these things work. Furthermore, every action of this kind is counterproductive in a broader sense. In displaying the belligerence and intolerance of the gender identity zealots, it bolsters the movement that promotes freedom of speech and the restoration of sex-based rights worldwide.

It is appalling that Michael Foran's lecture series has been targetted by bullies like this 😡
Due to escalating disruptive protests, I have decided to cancel the remainder of these lectures. This is deeply lamentable, but the disruption has undermined the academic nature of this series. Students shouldn't face bullying or harassment when attending academic events.

My charity raises funds for girls' toilets to be built in developing countries so girls can go to school for 4 weeks of the month instead of 3. This isn't rocket science. Why are girls in the UK not allowed as much dignity and privacy?
The Scottish Court of Session has just ruled that providing multi-user unisex toilets in a primary school amounted to indirect sex discrimination against female pupils. scotcourts.gov.uk/media/mv5d…
