People care about mechanics, the world, the characters, the music etc. DK isnât Mario and Bananza is clearly a love letter to DK as a series. Banzana scratches the itch for Mario no more than Crash or Spyro would.
Almost 10 years of waiting makes no one impatient.

playing Donkey Kong Bananza and idk the people complaining about no new 3D mario for the switch 2 rn are kinda crazy impatient. this game scratches the 3D mario itch really well until the time it actually happens

I've played a tiny bit of Banjo-Kazooie, but it was a long time ago. Its funny to see how Zoomers have been ridiculing it. Claiming its an overrated platformer that only Millennials loved. I suspect some of them are also doing it to counter signal JonTron though.
