Dark Money Denise Powell has spent more of her life in Miami and Los Angeles than she has in Omaha. She is an out-of-state, out-of-touch progressive activist trying to buy a House seat in Nebraska. For the last two months, Dark Money Denise has flooded our airwaves and filled our mailboxes with fear, negativity, and division. I am actually from Nebraska—and I’m running for Congress with a patriotic and optimistic vision of growing our economy and making Washington more accountable for everyday Nebraskans. We look forward to building a broad coalition of Nebraskans—Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike—to win this seat and represent our community in the United States Congress.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Denise Powell wins Democratic nomination for U.S. House in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District. #APRaceCall at 8:12 p.m. EDT. apnews.com/projects/election…

America’s federal spending is expected to be $7.4 trillion in 2026. If you were to tax 100% of Elon’s $1.1 trillion net worth, you would still need to find $6.3 trillion to satisfy your liberal spending—and that’s just for this year. As Thatcher said, “the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.”
Reason #1,000,000,000,000 why we should tax the rich.

THANK YOU to the 40 @dcrponline volunteers who worked hard tonight writing personalized notes to voters in our district. This is what a real grassroots movement looks like. We’re grateful for each and every one of you!

It was a busy weekend at the NEGOP Convention, the Bennington Days Parade, the Cattlemen’s Ball, and the Valparaiso Days Parade. I enjoyed meeting with so many Nebraskans, hearing your concerns, and talking about the future of our state and country. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and share their thoughts. We’re building momentum every day!

I’m proud to sit down with local business owners and hear what matters most to them. Don Carmelo’s Pizzeria has been serving the Omaha community for nearly 50 years. If you own a small business, we want to hear from you. Drop a comment below!

Affordability starts at the gas pump. Nebraska corn powers E15, but outdated EPA rules block year-round use. It's time for a permanent fix, not another band-aid.

Record-low crime. Host of the Greatest Show on Dirt. What’s not to like about Omaha? Loved talking about it all on @clayandbuck last week. Thanks for having me!

Our team had an incredible time walking in the Elkhorn Days Parade today and talking with members of the community. One theme we heard again and again was concern about the growing division in our politics and a desire for stronger communities and more connection. That’s something we need to focus on more across our country, and I look forward to hearing from even more voices as this campaign continues!

Today, we reflect on the generations of American service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and its ideals. We remember them with honor, gratitude, and pride.

Our team had an amazing time at the Cinco de Mayo parade in South Omaha this morning! It was great talking to so many people and hearing what they love about Omaha — something we don’t talk about nearly enough.

I’m honored to receive the official endorsement of Turning Point Action. While we continue to reflect on the incredible legacy of Charlie Kirk, we are more inspired than ever by his mission to empower young Americans and fight for the heart of our country. Turning Point Action’s commitment to Nebraska and the next generation is strong — built on relationships with leaders of the State and Local Party. We look forward to working together to win #NE02, hold the GOP House Majority, and advance the cause of freedom. @tpaction

Dark Money Denise Powell is an out-of-state and out-of-touch progressive activist who has spent the last year campaigning on being a pissed off mom, Blue Dot inside baseball, defunding law enforcement, and waving a passport around to fear monger that American citizens like herself are at risk of being deported. She says she wants to get Dark Money out of politics, but she gave specific instructions on how Dark Money Dollars should be spent on her behalf from her campaign website. Now, on the backs of nearly $6 million in Dark Money Dollars buying her primary victory over John Cavanaugh, Denise wants to pivot and pretend she cares about affordability and pocketbook issues. That’s how out-of-touch Dark Money Denise is. Thankfully, Nebraskans have another choice for Congress. I am actually from Nebraska, and I have been focused on growing the American economy and making life more affordable since we launched this campaign on July 1st last year.
Replying to @asanderford
Powell said she will focus on what she heard from people in all walks of life, the importance of making life more affordable. She said she would emphasize short-term fixes and long-term changes, including reasserting that Congress and not the president control tariff authority.

Former Mayor and U.S. Rep. Hal Daub says of Omaha City Councilman Brinker Harding: “I know a thing or two about what it takes to be a member of the United States House of Representatives. … The idea that I’m asking you to embrace tonight is Brinker Harding as our nominee has the elective public service experience and a real record to talk about.”

Election Day is here! I voted this morning, and now I’m asking supporters across NE-02 to get to the polls today. We’ve knocked the doors, made the calls, and traveled across the district listening to voters — now it’s time to finish strong and support candidates up and down the ballot.
